About

OpenPlotter is a marine software image and configuration layer for Raspberry Pi, maintained by the OpenMarine project. It is how many owners install a working onboard stack: chart plotting, a Signal K server, and the wiring to GPS, AIS, and NMEA instruments, without assembling each piece by hand.

It is not a commercial fleet system. It is the practical distribution for self-built boat computers — leisure craft, small workboats, and experimental bridges — that want OpenCPN and Signal K running together on hardware you control.
